Star Wars: Episode IV-A New Hope

Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope was originally just called Star Wars, this movie is the first movie in it's sequal. STar Wars is a 1977 science fantasy film written and dirrected by George Lucas. Episode IV is a fan favorite because of it's groumd-breaking special effects. Episode IV was such a fan favorite that it is among a handful of the most succesful movies of all time. The first Star Wars is thought to have been very infueltial.

The setting of first Star Wars movie is 19 years after the formation of the bad guys known as the Galactic Empire. The Galactic Empire is under the command of many evil people like Darth Vader. The Galactic Empire has been creating a destuctor of stars called the death star. The death star has the power to destroy an entire planet. Princess Leia, a leader of the Rebel Alliance finds out about the death star and tries to find it's weakness but in the process she is captured and taken to the death star. While all this is happening a young farmer called Luke Skywalker meets Obi-Wan Kenobi who has been living in seclusion for years on the planet Tatooine. When Luke's house burned and his aunt and uncle killed his jedi training begins, these two along with Han-solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 attempt to rescue princess leia.
